Lawrence (Larry) PAGE (* 26. March 1973 in Ann Arbor, Michigan as Lawrence E. PAGE) is an US-American computer scientist and joint founder of the search machine Google. After PAGE also the PAGE climbing algorithm is designated, a component of the weighting mechanism of this search machine.
With its fellow student Sergey Brin worked PAGE as a graduate student to the Stanford University. They created together 1998 the prototypes of a search machine for the World Wide Web. PAGE created then with Brin the company Google Inc. and continued working there. It lets its graduation rest since then.
By the stock exchange course of Google on 19 August 2004 Larry PAGE became computational by the possession of approximately 38 million shares the multi-billionaire.
PAGE is single. Its father is a computer science professor Carl Victor PAGE.
