Google Answers is since April 2002 a Google service.

Google Answers offers personalisierte research services against a fee (between 2.50 and 200 USD). The research or professional search is made by a "“Google Answers Researchers"” selected of 500 of Google. The Google Answers Researchers works on freelance basis and is no Google employee.

The customer can ask a question (with exception from questions to forbidden activities) and decides, which price is paid for an answer. The Researchers gets 75% of the price of the answer. Google keeps 25% per cent and additionally 0,5 USD, these as handling charges is taken, even if the question were not answered. Naturally highly-paid questions have better chances to be answered.

If the question were answered, the customer can give also a kind to tip ("“tip"”). If the answer is not clear, the customer may request also further clarifications.

Additionally to the question and answer (where only the customer and the Researcher can write) each question has also a comment section, where each registered member can note its references.

So far this service is available only on English.
