Dr. Eric Emerson Schmidt (* 1955) is CEO of the company Google Inc.

It was gotten by the Google founders Larry PAGE and Sergey Brin from Novell to Google. It looks on a twenty-year-old career as Internet strategist, entrepreneur and a developer of effective technologies in the service of Novell back.

Before Dr. Eric Schmidt came to Novell, he was director/conductor of the technical department and CEO with Sun Microsystems, Inc. In addition it harvested international acknowledgment for its contribution for the development of the Internets and contributed to the development and marketing of Java. Before the entrance with Sun in the year 1983 it was member of the research department into Xerox the Palo Alto Research center (PARC). In addition it was employed in the Bell Laboratories research department and with Zilog. Dr. Eric Schmidt has a Bachelor OF Science into electro-technology of the Princeton university as well as a master and a doctor in computer science of the University OF California in Berkeley.

It lives at present due to its occupation with Google in Mountain View, California (the USA).
